My Approach

We are the creators of our own story.

I named my practice Creative Resources Counseling, because we can be creative in building the internal resources that give us clarity, confidence, and connection that allows us to create the lives we want.

I believe creativity is the source of life, and it’s the yearning for freedom.

Being creative is a sense of being original, gifted, and visionary. It’s the thing that sets you apart. It’s having the courage to express ideas that are not like others and being vulnerable to judgment.

What are the values or beliefs about yourself that you resource to allow yourself to be vulnerable?

If we are lucky, we have external resources like friends and family that we can rely on for support. But this is not always the case, and you may have relied on your external resources that may be compromised. It’s necessary to develop and create the internal resources by holding strong to values and understanding of self.

You are not alone.

Counseling provides a place to find respite when life gets off kilter from unforeseen events in our lives.

It’s helpful and comforting to have a compassionate, skilled professional who can help you discover what has happened in your life to make you feel so disoriented and self-conscious. If you have a better understanding of why and how you truly feel, the more you can change and discover what is holding you back.

Let’s find the clarity on why you’re spinning in cycles of unhappiness, discover the confidence of who you are, and find connection with the pieces of you that allow you to express yourself and have the life you want.

It’s time to reclaim your story. Call me today to schedule an appointment: (303) 906-1299.
